Migration law

I specialize in the following areas:
Family reunification visa,
Spousal reunification (removing the suspicion of a fictitious marriage),
Residence permit for (self-employed) gainful employment (work permit),
Residence permit for managing director of a GmbH
Settlement permit and permit for permanent residence EC,
Residence permit for the purpose of education (study or vocational training)
Limitation of the re-entry ban,
deportations and expulsions
Naturalization and permission to retain German citizenship.

Of course, you can also pursue the procedure before the German Embassy/ the Aliens Department/ the competent authority without a lawyer. However, it must be kept in mind that lack of experience and background knowledge can lead to mistakes that may cost a lot of time and money. If a lawyer then has to be hired afterwards, your chances of obtaining the desired residence title may be reduced.

Migration law is one of the most politically controversial areas of law. In this regard, it is not surprising that it has taken on a very large scope and is constantly changing. A good lawyer should be able to give you an honest and clear assessment of your case and provide you with options both under existing law and through developments in case law and literature that may emerge in the near future.

The attorney will work with you to prepare the right strategy for your case and represent you in your dealings with the embassy and/or immigration authorities. Misunderstandings that could arise due to a lack of language skills or bad-tempered officials are thus avoided.

A lawyer should be able to explain to the immigration authorities why your case meets the legal requirements. If there are problems, he can often settle them with his legal expertise and argumentation skills or prepare a lawsuit before the administrative courts.
